Celluflow |
Celluflow is micro-porous spherical powder from natural material. TA-25 is cellulose acetate, and C-25 is cellulose. |
|
[1] Characteristics |
| Celluflow TA-25 and C-25 have following special characteristics: |
*Natural material |
-- Soft touch and low skin irritation
-- Improve the product image
|
*Spherical |
| -- Smoothly feeling and spread easily
|
*Micro sponge |
| -- Swelled in the solvent, and change their volume and strength.
|
*Highly porous |
-- Slow release of ingrained useful ingredients
-- Breath well
|
*High physical and chemical strength |
-- Easy handling and high product stability
Celluflow have special characteristics; so they have been developed mainly as ingredients of cosmetics.
|
[2] Uses |
Celluflow TA-25 and C-25 are useful in the following applications.
1)Ingredient of Cosmetics
Powder and Emulsified Cosmetics,
e.g. Foundation, Lipstick, Eye-color, Milky Lotion, and Skin Lotion etc.
2)Slow-release Support for Pharmaceuticals.
3)Bonding Additive of Toners.
4)Modifier for Pigments and Paints
|
[3] Property of TA-25 and C-25 |
1) Both C-25 and TA-25 are hardly soluble in water.
2) While C-25 dissolves only specific solvents, TA-25 is more lipophile and soluble in methylene chloride and chloroform.
3) TA-25 is larger than in its total area of pores and total specific surface area of pores than C-25, and thus has a large porosity.
